Day 1 – Calgary to CrossRiver Wilderness Centre, Kootenay National Park (149 miles)
Drive west to Banff and visit Banff Upper Hot Springs or ride the Banff gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain for stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Continue through Kootenay National Park to CrossRiver Wilderness Centre in the wilderness of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Day 2 – CrossRiver Wilderness Centre
Enjoy half or full day guided hikes, stunning vistas, wild flowers, waterfalls, river valleys, mountain summits and wildlife.

Day 3 – CrossRiver to Cranbrook (85 miles)
Radium Hot Springs to Invermere is a golfer’s paradise, why not challenge yourself on the famous Cliffhanger hole at Greywolf Golf Course? Continue south to Fairmont Hot Springs, the largest hot, natural mineral springs in Canada. Lussier Hot Springs are a natural and undeveloped hot spring just 11 miles away. Continue onto Fort Steele Heritage Town, a restored turn-of-the-century gold rush town.

Day 4 – Cranbrook to Ainsworth Hot Springs or Nelson (52 miles or 137 miles)
At Creston visit the famous Columbia Brewery home of the Kokanee beer. The Creston Wildlife Area is a large wetland where 250 species of upland birds and waterfowl nest. Take the ferry across Kootenay Lake, the longest free ferry in the world. Continue up to a horseshow shaped cave at Ainsworth Hot Springs. The hot pool overlooks Kootenay Lake. Overnight in the quaint, historic town of Nelson. Pre-book an optional 3 night side trip to Yasodhara Yoga Retreat for yoga and meditation programs.

Day 5 - Ainsworth Hot Springs/Nelson to Revelstoke (127 miles or 148 miles)
Drive to Nakusp Hot Springs via the forest service road. Take lunch at Halcyon Hot Springs then take the free ferry from Galena Bay to Shelter Bay to reach Revelstoke located between Monashee and Selkirk Mountain ranges.

Day 6 – Revelstoke to Lake Louise (136 miles)
Depart early to explore Mount Revelstoke National Park and/or Glacier National Park. Both parks offer interpretative walks on trails. Continue to Golden and Kicking Horse Mountain

restaurant the Eagles Eye. Enjoy a guided tour at the Grizzly Bear Refuge. Travel through Kicking Horse Pass to Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park where you can take a lakeside walk. Continue East into Alberta and Lake Louise.

Day 7 - Lake Louise to Calgary (110 miles)
Early morning calm water reflections of the mountain make for great pictures. With aquamarine waters Lake Louise was originally known as the Emerald Lake. The name was changed to honour Queen Victoria's daughter. Depart from Lake Louise and on the way back to Calgary stop at Canmore for lunch.
