Day 1: London Arrival & Windsor Castle
Your holiday will start at 2:30pm when you will meet your tour director at your Windsor hotel. Nearby you will find Windsor Castle, residence of the Queen and the largest inhabited castle in the world, take a walk around the castle before returning to your hotel to meet again with your tour director and an then enjoy your evening meal in the hotel. (D)

Day 2: Oxford & York Minster
Today you will travel to Oxford and spend time exploring the 'City of Dreaming Spires' before heading to York and a visit to the Minster to admire the stunning medieval stained glass windows. Explore the narrow streets and visit the shops on the Shambles, one of the city's narrowest alleyways where the overhanging upper floors almost form an arch across the street. (B, D)

Day 3: Bamburgh Castle & Scottish Evening
Head north with a stopover at Hadrian's Wall before a visit to Bamburgh Castle which dates back to 1096. Continue through the countryside of the Scottish Borders to Edinburgh where you will find your hotel. In the evening you will be treated to a traditional Scottish meal and entertainment in your hotel. (B, D)

Day 4: Edinburgh Castle & Guided City Tour
Explore Edinburgh in the morning, starting in the "New Town" which was home to many famous writers and inventors. See the Royal Mile with its narrow medieval houses and take a tour around Edinburgh Castle to see the Crown Jewels of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny. You can then spend the afternoon at leisure. Experience the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo if travelling between 31st July and 14th August. (B)

Day 5: Lake District & British Music Experience
Today you will drive through the Lake District to see stunning views of lakes, hills and valleys. Stop in the village of Grasmere, famous for where William Wordsworth wrote some of his most famous works. His grave can be seen in the village churchyard. Continue on to Liverpool to visit the British Music Experience. After checking into your hotel in central Liverpool enjoy an evening meal and also visit the Cavern Club, a must-see for any Beatles fan. (B, D)

Day 6: Tintern Abbey & Welsh Evening in Cardiff
Today you will head south through Shropshire, stopping in Ludlow to see its huge castle and traditional black and white houses. Visit the ruins of Tintern Abbey, founded in 1131 and dissolved in 1536 by order of King Henry VIII. Next, travel to Cardiff for a tour around Cardiff Castle. In the evening you will be treated to a Welsh meal with traditional Welsh music and entertainment. (B, D)

Day 7: Roman Baths & Stonehenge
Today you will head to Bath, famous for its natural hot springs used by the Romans 2,000 years ago. Explore the Roman Baths and Pump Room here before travelling to Salisbury to see the famous Stonehenge and learn about its history in the visitor centre. A short drive will take you to your next hotel which will be in London. The evening is then free for you to spend at leisure. (B)

Day 8: London Tour & Tower of London
See Piccadilly Circus, Nelson's Column, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and many other fantastic attractions that London has to offer on a morning tour. Visit the Tower of London to see the Beefeaters in their famous uniforms and of course the magnificent and priceless Crown Jewels. The rest of the day is free for you to spend at leisure. (B)

Day 9: Tour Ends in London Enjoy a final breakfast in London before departing for home. (B)
