Day 1: London Arrival & St Paul's Cathedral
You will begin your holiday at 2:00pm when you will meet your tour director at your London hotel. You will then be taken on a panoramic tour of central London to see some of its many beautiful landmarks, including a tour around St Paul's Cathedral. Later in the day you will meet again with your tour director who will go through your itinerary with you over a welcome drink before an evening meal in your hotel. (D)

Day 2: Tower of London & City Sights
You will get the chance to explore London on an open-top bus tour, covering places such as the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Trafalgar Square. You will also have the opportunity to take a walking tour of London and a cruise on the River Thames. See the magnificent Crown Jewels in the Tower of London, guarded by Beefeaters in their famous uniforms and visit the towers in which historic events have taken place. If you wish you could visit Kensington Palace, home of Princess Diana. The evening is free for you to dine in one of the many fantastic restaurants London has to offer. (B)

Day 3: Stonehenge, Bath & Traditional Welsh Evening
Today you will visit Stonehenge and discover the history behind its creation in the visitor centre. Next you will head to Bath, famous for its natural hot springs used by the Romans 2,000 years ago. Explore the Roman Baths and Pump Room here before travelling to Cardiff for a tour of Cardiff Castle and a Welsh evening meal with traditional Welsh entertainment. (B, D)

Day 4: Train Ride & Welsh Scenery
Today you will take a drive around Wales' capital to view its stunning sights and attractions before heading north through the picturesque Brecon Beacons National Park and the beautiful countryside of rural Wales. Visit Snowdonia National Park in North Wales and take a narrow-gauge train ride through the heart of the region to admire the mountain landscapes. Your next overnight stay will be in Caernarfon where you will enjoy your evening meal and if you wish, a gentle stroll through the ancient streets afterwards. (B, D)

Day 5: Castles of North Wales, Slate Museum & Snowdonia
Visit the National Slate Museum to find out about the region's former slate industry, developed in Victorian times and also visit the highest peak in Wales, Mount Snowdon. See the huge Conwy Castle, build by King Edward I in the 13th century and take a walk through the narrow medieval streets and visit the smallest house in Britain, located on the quay. (B, D)

Day 6: Llangollen & Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon
Look around the charming village of Llangollen, a typical Welsh settlement with many little tearooms and shops. Then visit the beautiful town of Bridgnorth just across the border. Drive to Stratford-upon-Avon for a tour around the city centre and visit Shakespeare's birthplace. Here you will see an exhibition about his life and work and you will also get the chance to go inside the house where he was born. Later in the day you will check in to your next hotel. (B, D)

Day 7: Cotswolds & Windsor Castle
Drive through the hills of the Cotswolds today, known for its pretty cottages and gardens. Stop in Broadway, where the houses are built with honey-coloured stone. Take a tour through Oxford and visit Windsor Castle, one of the Queen's official residences and the largest inhabited castle in the world. Enjoy dinner in your hotel before a short stroll around the town with a local guide. (B, D)

Day 8: Tour Ends in Windsor Enjoy a final breakfast before departing for home. (B)
