Visit the18th century Westport House and Pirate Adventure Park - with period rooms, gardens, aviary, mini-railway and lake with pedalos.

Croagh Patrick – Patrick’s Sacred Mountain and site of pilgrimage throughout the years. Climb to the top and enjoy magnificent views of Clew Bay and the Mayo countryside. Visit the National Famine Museum located at the foot of Croagh Patrick, monument to the millions that lost their lives in the Great Famine.

Cycle the Great Western Greenway a 42km rail trail that runs along the Clew Bay coastline or take a trip to Achill Island and the blue flag beach at Keem Bay.

Killarney
Drive along the Ring of Kerry, an area of outstanding beauty with some of Europe’s finest beaches. See the Iron-Age forts, Ogham Stones, Old Monasteries and a landscape carved out of rock by the last Ice Age.

Explore the Killarney National Park which includes the McGillycuddy's Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland and visit the world famous Lakes of Killarney. The Torc Waterfall, a 70 to 80ft high waterfall is well worth the 5 minute walk through scenic woodland. Travel a little further and climb the 100 or so steps to enjoy some excellent views of the Lakes.

Take a walk around Muckross House and gardens and see what life was like in the nineteenth century Victorian mansion. Step back into the past to Ireland of the 1930s and 40s with a visit to the traditional farms.
