Day 1: Dublin Tour & The Book of Kells
On arrival at your Dublin hotel, you will meet your guide and then set off on an introductory tour of the City. See the beautiful Georgian houses and also take a tour around the campus of Trinity College. View the illuminated manuscript of the Book of Kells here, before returning to your hotel for a drink with your tour group.

Day 2: 6th Century Glendalough & Dunbrody Famine Ship
Your journey continues through the Wicklow Mountains to Glendalough. Here you will learn about St. Kevin’s 6th century monastery in the Glendalough Visitor Centre. Next take a walk through the deep valley to see the ruins of a round tower, churches and Celtic crosses. Then head south to New Ross and walk around the Dunbrody Famine Ship, a reconstructed 19th century vessel showing the harsh sailing conditions for emigrants on the way to North America. Your next hotel is located in Waterford where you will enjoy your evening meal before heading out for a gentle, guided walk around the city. (B, D)

Day 3: Waterford Crystal & Blarney Castle
View glass blowing at the House of Waterford Crystal where one-of-a-kind trophies are made, before heading to Cobh, the last port of call for the Titanic, for a walking tour. Next, kiss the “Stone of Eloquence” in nearby Blarney and enjoy exploring Blarney Castle. Here you can also visit the Blarney Woollen Mills where you will find quality Irish goods. Your next hotel is in Killarney; enjoy the picturesque scenery on the way. (B, D)

Day 4: Ring of Kerry Drive & Skellig Experience
Today you will travel on the Ring of Kerry route; a winding road with views of both the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks Mountains and the Atlantic coastline. Next, visit Valentia Island and the Skellig Experience, reached by crossing a bridge, and learn about hermits who lived on the nearby islands and how the islands were used as a location in “Star Wars” Your lunch today is included here before a stop in the picturesque village of Sneem. Enjoy the breathtaking mountain views of Moll’s Gap before returning to Killarney for an evening of leisure. (B, L)

Day 5: Cliffs of Moher & Galway Walk
Today you will head north to take a ferry across the River Shannon Estuary and continue along the coast of County Clare. See the vast Cliffs of Moher rising to almost 700 feet above the Atlantic and view Galway Bay and the Aran Islands from O’Brien’s Tower. Enjoy a walking tour around central Galway and then check into your next hotel. (B, D)

Day 6: Yeats’ Grave & Derry Walk
Continue north to Knock, one of the world’s leading shrines. See the church were villagers saw a vision of the Virgin Mary in 1879. Next, watch trained sheepdogs round up sheep at a farm before heading to view the grave of W. B Yeats; one of Ireland’s Nobel Prize-winning writers. Carry on along the coast of Donegal Bay to Donegal town past the Blue Stack Mountains before arriving in Derry. Here, a local guide will take you on a tour of the city to learn about its history. Day 7: Giant’s Causeway & Glyde Inn Dinner/Show
Today will be spent on the northern coastline including trips to Dunluce Castle and the Giant’s Causeway. Head to Titanic Belfast to see its state-of-the-art displays and learn more about the famous liner. Stop at the Glyde Inn near Dundalk for a traditional Irish meal and entertainment before continuing on to Dublin where you will find your next hotel. (B, D)

Day 8: Tour Ends in Dublin
Enjoy a final breakfast before your tour comes to an end. (B)
